The first two pictures depict the same house in the submerged village of Vilarinho da Furna with two different water levels, as the dam was much lower in the second one.
The first picture was taken during my last research trip to Vilarinho in 2005, and the other on the day of the presentation of my novel Rio Homem in the Vilarinho Museum, last October.
On the last photo, the coorganizers of the event, Rui Barbosa (who created a blog on the former wolfram mine of Carris, near Vilarinho) and Manuel Antunes, a former inhabitant of Vilarinho and now President of their Association.
